Who we are
Text your Caddy (textyourcaddy.golf) is a personal tee time assistant. You tell it when you want to play, and it watches for matching tee times and books them on your behalf, on your own golf account, with your approval.
What we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, via our sign-in provider.
- Your mobile number — which you enter yourself, used only to text you.
- Golf course account credentials — the username and password for the booking site you ask us to use, so we can sign in as you and reserve times.
- Booking activity — your requests, the times we found, and what was booked.
How we use it
Solely to operate the service: to find and book tee times you asked for, to text you about them, and to show you your own history. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
Text messaging
We text you only after you provide your number and give express consent in your settings. Messages are account notifications about your tee time requests — never marketing.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You may also remove your number in settings at any time.
How we protect credentials
Golf course passwords are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. They are decrypted only in memory, only at the moment we sign in on your behalf, and are never displayed back to you or shared with anyone.
Sharing
We share information only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service — our hosting, database, browser automation, and SMS delivery vendors — and only as needed to provide it. We do not sell your information.
Retention and your choices
You can delete your golf account credentials or your phone number at any time in settings, which stops the corresponding functionality immediately. Email us to delete your account and associated data entirely.
